1980 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith II

1980 was the last year of production for this iconic Rolls-Royce. This model was made in various forms since 1966. All of them had carburated engines. In 1980, cars that were sold new in California had fuel injection. It is believed that fewer than 50 1980 Silver Wraith II's were sold in California. This very special car is a California edition, fuel injected, Silver Wraith II.

The difference in driving a fuel injected version versus carbureted is dramatic. The fuel injected cars are much smoother, respond better, and get better fuel mileage. These are the rarest, most highly sought after, and finest of this generation of Rolls-Royce.

This car was originally sold new at Roy Carver Rolls-Royce in Newport Beach, California. It's price in 1980 was $100,576. It had the same owner for 27 years. It was then sold to a collector in Dubai where it was reportedly part of a 100 car collection. About a year ago it was brought back to the US.

This is one of the finest condition Silver Wraiths we had ever seen. The metallic white paint is close to flawless. Inside the original tan leather seats shows very little wear and are close to perfect. The wood is in beautiful condition as are the carpets and door panels. The lambs wool rugs look like they have never been used. The original foot rest are included and also in beautiful condition. The cashmere headliner is also beautiful and has no sagging. The engine compartment is in beautiful condition and there are no known leaks. A battery cut off switch has been installed underneath the bonnet. As expected the boot in the same condition as the rest of the car. The original ever flex top is beautiful and has no bubbling or fading. It is as close to perfect as we have ever seen. This Rolls-Royce truly is one of the best there are. We invite anybody who is interested in purchasing it too personally experience it for themselves.
